POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our Sales Team as an account manager and grow with us! This role will require the ability to build strong and lasting relationships, and the resiliency press forward through a challenging and rewarding industry. The Account Manager will need general sales or account management experience with the ability to grow and truly understand their customers’ business, anticipate needs, manage expectations, and overcome objections.

This role will be part of our Retail Sales Channel.POSITION SPECIFICSCompensation Information: DOE base salary and bonusSchedule/Shift Information: Typically, Monday – Friday, onsite role. Ability to travel to customers as needed. 5-10% annual travel. Some weekends on occasionBenefits: Include PTO, Medical, Dental, STD and Life Insurance as well as 401k.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEManage several accounts at one time with on time accurate order entry, and ability to track price schedules while setting and tracking ads

Ability to seek out ways to grow their accounts through ad planning and introduction of new itemsEntices new sales opportunities from internal knowledge given from buyers to aide in product sales to help get product out and grow extra salesOverseeing local and reginal sales, promotions and campaigns while working with Retail Director on any needed customer project to aide in on time execution

Design and implement a successful sales strategy for each given account. Set sales targets and achieve them effectively.Manages and resolves all receivable issuesPlans and attends customer food showsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS3+ years’ experience in sales or account managementExcellent organizational and time-management skillsExcellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skillsAbility and willingness to work with others internally in the organization at all levels in a professional mannerStrong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patternsAdvanced time management skillsHandling and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner regarding our productsProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.1+ years of experience with ERP or CRM.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsPREFERRED QUALIFIFCATIONS AND SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with Produce ProBilingual is awesome!PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSBe able to sit and work at a computer for 8 hours a day with the ability to complete data entryAbility to make and receive phone calls.Qualified applicants will be considered for this exciting and rewarding position with a successful and growing company in Minneapolis.
