Description:Job Description:Position Description (Major tasks, Value added, Contribution context, Work relations, Qualifications)is seeking to hire a Market Development Manager for our Americas region EVBP (Electric Vehicle Battery Packaging) Team. This position will be residence-based, preferably in the San Francisco Bay region. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with new and emerging EVBP industry stakeholders, including, but not limited to, new EV entrants and legacy automotive Tiers and OEMs. You will also cultivate a very close working relationship with a key customer located nearby.

Major Responsibilities:

Developing and nurturing relationships with new and emerging EVBP industry stakeholders, including but not limited to new EV entrants and legacy automotive Tiers and OEMs in the Americas regionManage customer expectations, maintain ongoing customer satisfaction and identify trends in customer needs, technology development and propose a course of action to internal stakeholdersYou are responsible for overseeing all aspects of EV Battery Packaging projects and managing the relationship with selected accounts in coordination with other internal groupsAs a member of our global EVBP team, you will support the implementation of our regional EVBP strategy, setting priorities accordingly and aligning with colleagues and managers as needed Requires hands-on planning and project management, the ability to track deliverables, identify opportunities for improvement and communicate effectively across functional groups and regionsWork with Applications Development to establish close technical cooperation with customers protect IP, raise requests for Product Development based on customer/market needs, support advocacy efforts, support product launchesIdentify and coordinate with technology partners, services providers and vendors that can help us achieve our technical and business goals

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, with eight (8) year's relevant experience in account management, business development, or technical expertise in Electric VehiclesProject management experience coordinating multiple tasks and lead global teams with limited time and resources in complex environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Chemical Engineering, Materials/Polymer Science, etc.)A technical background with relevance to the plastics or automotive industry, especially to electro-mobility is desirableEssential Knowledge and Skills:

Strong networking skillsWilling to travel up to 50% of working timeForeign language and multi-cultural skills are a plus
