PACCAR’s Zero Emissions department is focused on new technologies such as battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell electric, and advanced vehicle concepts that eliminate harmful emissions in the heavy and medium duty transportation industries. Our mission is to create the world’s best zero emissions products for our customers, and our communities.Job Functions / Responsibilities

Collaborate with a third party to develop designs for PACCAR battery packs including structural, thermal, and sealing, while ensuring the design and validation meets PACCAR standards.Evaluate and assess various technologies to guide and enhance battery pack designs.Work closely with PACCAR’s purchasing and quality teams to identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers.Utilize a standardized phase gate product creation process to deliver high quality engineering designs.Provide engineering analysis and design to support the expansion of EV applications into new market segments as customers adopt the technologies.Demonstrate innovation through effective collaboration and personal initiative.Support rapid troubleshooting and problem resolution related to battery system scope of responsibility.Other duties as assigned.Up to 20% travel (domestic and international).Qualifications & Skills
