The BDC acts as a liaison between the marketing, sales and service teams by cultivating strong relationships with customers, from first contact to closing of the deal and follow-up.ResponsibilitiesAnswer customer calls and establish follows-up with appointments
Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, scripts and templates
Contact customers based on current marketing incentives to generate dealership traffic
Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-shows
Provide customers with initial information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources
Utilize CRM tracking system daily
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsPrior customer service experience required; automotive BDC experience preferred
Available to work flexible hours and some Saturdays
Excellent teammate with collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Prompt and courteous demeanor
Positive and hardworking personality
Strong computer skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
