ADS, Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Account Manager to support State and Local Law Enforcementcustomers. This role will require frequent travel (50-75%).

Regional Account Manager Duties:

Develop relationships with Agencies at all levels: end users, supply officers, and decision makersCreatively address customer problems, becoming a true resource and solution provider

Understand contract/funding methods and assist customers in their usePartner with suppliers to provide best products and values to meet customer requirementsDetermine innovative strategies to win business

Understand and represent ADS products and services and carry out direct sales activities in order to meet company defined quotasProvide management with sales plan on a bi-weekly basisGenerate quotes for customers and assist them in identifying optimal funding vehiclesWork with support teams (purchasing, accounting, warehouse, etc.) to ensure that all information is up to date in the system and that orders are delivered in a timely fashionRegularly following up on closed sales to ensure delivery and quality were as promisedMake cold calls, face to face and via telephone prospecting to develop new businessMonitor and report on market and competitor activities

Minimum Requirements:

Must be friendly and likeable comfortable talking to "anyone"Must be utterly committed to providing legendary customer service2-5 years of experience selling to local law enforcement highly preferred2 years' experience with MS Office tools, email, etc.50-75% Travel: Must be able to meet with customers outside under all weather conditions and must be able to travel by car and plane for long distancesBachelor's degree highly preferred, but prior State and Local Law Enforcement experience may be substituted

Other Qualifications:

MUST be highly organizedMust be an excellent communicator both in writing and in personNeeds to understand basic business financial concepts and to be able to budget own expenses in a cost effective mannerAble to use customer and prospect contact activities tools (CRM systems) and update relevant information held in these systems as requiredAbsolutely must be a self-starter with a will and desire to be the best at what you doUnderstanding of the government grant process, State and Local contracting, and purchasing vehicles strongly preferredPrior Oracle experience a plus
