ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supply assembled hardware in accordance to the required quality and quantity standards to each production line or staging area. Operator must be able to sort and arrange different styles/types of hardware which includes a combination of many different models, styles, and components. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must learn to read daily production schedule. Have knowledge of and identify all styles of hardware. Understand and prioritize order of upholstery line production in accordance to work schedule. Supply buggies of assembled hardware to all production lines throughout the day. Return empty buggies to hardware production area for assembler usage. Identify correct parts for respective styles to be assembled. Retrieve required parts from storage area using manual pallet jack or two wheel dolly to supply hardware assemblers. Maintain clean and organized work area. Assist others when necessary. Perform any other duties as assigned. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES

Who is responsible for your safety? "YOU ARE!" Immediately report any work related injury or illness. Keep the work area neat and free of hazards. THE USE OF COMPRESSED AIR WITHOUT PROPER SAFETY NOZZLE IS PROHIBITED FOR CLEAN-UP. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times. Always ensure proper lifting techniques: avoid bending and twisting at the waist whenever possible. Inspect tools and protective equipment before use. Learn the hazards of the equipment and procedures used on the job. Report any defective, malfunctioning, or suspicious tool, machine, or protective equipment immediately. Participate in safety training and safety meetings. Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures. Requirements

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Basic reading and writing skills required. Ability to read, understand and communicate the English language. SAFETY

Personal Protection Equipment should be worn at all times within the department as well as throughout the plant where designated. Safety is enforced each day to prevent any accidents.
