About this Role:

ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is currently looking for a dedicated, driven person to join our family as a Vice President, Regional Sales, for our growing operations in the Northeast markets! While this position will primarily be work from home/remote, it would require the individual in this role to be based in the Northeast region of the U.S..

The Vice President, Regional Sales is an individual contributor responsible for increasing sales to meet company goals and objectives, with a focus on providing transportation solutions to both new and existing clients. Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company services and solutionsIdentify and target leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business to increase revenueDevelop new and grow existing customer relationshipsBuild and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growthLead RFQ/RFP bid management activities for their assigned customer baseWork closely with account managers and operations teams to resolve customer complaintsAssist collections team with customer invoice disputesGuide new customers through the onboarding processMaintain pipeline requirements of new prospects, leads, and opportunities through CRMProvide management updates on weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customersPrepare and present QBR's with our top customersOther duties, as assignedEducation and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED requiredCollege Degree or equivalent experience requiredAt least 10 years experience selling in the intermodal drayage/trucking spaceDemonstrated ability in meeting sales objectivesExcellent interpersonal communication skillsThorough understanding of the transportation industry and industry trendsFamiliarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychologyProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation softwareAbility and willingness to travel for trade shows, demonstrations, and client meetingsAbility to negotiate and close dealsExperience meeting deadlines and KPIsAbility to work outside normal business hours, as neededPhysical Requirements:
