Administrative Assistant
Our Village United, Inc. is a 501c3 organization located in Atlanta, GA. OVU is seeking a full-time administrative assistant to join our dynamic team. This person will work to support the daily administrative operations of the organization. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, team-centered, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities:Field inbound communications - Answer general email inquiries and route to the appropriate internal parties as needed.Coordinate scheduling - Set up meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders.Organize internal resources - Build out and maintain processes to keep files organized and easily accessible.Assist the program manager, including Programming and meeting calendar updates and overviews and sending communications to the OVU team as needed.Heavily support with event planning and execution. This is in collaboration with the program manager and community development officer.Will manage vendor relationships to include requesting and receiving invoices for paymentRequirements:
Associate Degree, Undergraduate Degree, or Graduate Degree preferredMust live in the metro Atlanta area (within 20 miles of Atlanta)Ability to be on-site as needed for [all relevant] eventsEvent management experience preferredComputer with high-speed internet access3 years experience as an administrative assistantStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPositive, high-energy attitudeResourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill setAbility to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructionsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Email Interface, Monday.com, Asana, and CalendlyAttention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasksTeam management and organizational skills
Shift: Full-Time 40 hours, per week (some evening and weekends)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - in office 2 days a week)
Salary Range: $ 50,000 - $53,000 annually
