Position Summary:
Maintain a well-organized tool crib. Review all tooling, work with tool sheets for pulling setups. Help Break Operators with tasks to be efficient, safe and documentation as needed.
Overall Responsibilities:
· Receive, store and issue BRK-Numbers for all new of modified tooling.
· Issue tooling for all upcoming jobs, using brake setup data.
· Collect information on all BRK-1 and BRK-2 setups for updates and new setups, when required.
· Basic material handing for brakes.
· Help perform basic defined brake maintenance.
· Work with Brake Engineering to collect missing data, and tooling information.
· Process Inspections.
· Basic tooling modifications.
· Communicate with the Quality and Engineering teams.
· Maintain tooling in Epicor.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Good communication skills
· Able to follow directions for training
· Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
Education & Training/Experience:
· GED or High School diploma
· Basic computer skills
· Sheet metal experience preferred
