JOB SUMMARY:
Work with warehouse team in executing the primary picking and loading responsibilities and perform various warehouse tasks
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Strip delivery trucks of empties and returned productRepair damaged cases and return to inventoryStack and sort empty containers, kegs, and palletsRestock product into picking LocationsPick orders and load delivery trucksEnsure 100% accuracy on the truck loadsMaintain clean and organized warehouseAssemble customer pick up orders or will callsMake emergency deliveries to customers as neededEnsure proper maintenance and care of all EquipmentReplace forklift and all other equipment in recharge station at end of shiftAssist with receiving product into warehouse
Position Requirements
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. And/or operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
