JMT, is currently ranked #59 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms.JMT is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide overall project administration and oversight for multiple construction management projects.Essential functions and responsibilities:Manage systems and staff to ensure project documentation is accurate and currentManage construction and rehabilitation projects for roadways, bridges and buildingsCoordinate work assignments for multiple construction projectsSupervise and manage both State and Consultant project engineers and inspectors.Assign and management project staff to projects on a daily basis as dictated by workloadInterview potential inspector candidatesReview analyze and make recommendations on construction claims and change ordersOversee total construction to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications standards and special provisionsMeet with client representatives, contractors and subcontractors, chair meetings and agenda documentsMonitor project cost, schedule & quality, and prepare reportsNonessential functions and responsibilitiesReview baseline schedules and updates as neededProvide construction scheduling, constructability review and claim avoidance/analysis assistance to design personnelPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management5+ years of related experienceQualifications PreferredExperience with local clientsWorking ConditionsWork is performed in the field 50% of the time. Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs as needed.
