The successful candidate will be responsible for financial and contract administration of assigned projects.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the assigned Senior Project Engineers in monitoring the financial performance of the construction project.Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectorsNotify contractor of non-compliance and corrective action.Track project progress and advises parties of possible overruns, and critical project issueAnalyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutionsCoordinate administrative aspects of projects including; contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash managementAssist in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materialsReview plans for constructability and biddabilityRepresent the company at various community and/or business meetingsNonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the development of new project proposalsAssist in the development of RFP’s or tasksPerform other related duties as assignedPromote positive relations with contracts, vendors and consultantsRequired Experience

For personnel with Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees:Requires two (2) years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projectsFor personnel without

degrees:Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experiencePreferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in civil engineeringFL PEWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking.
