Two Ob/Gyn physicians are needed to join a community hospital with a Level 1 Trauma Center.  They are all part of a well-regarded health-care system.  They currently have five Ob/Gyn physicians, two Nurse Practitioners, two Sonographers, and a Phlebotomist who provide Clinic support.  Call is currently 1:5 with a weekend and holiday rotation.  Call will be 1:7 when they hire two additional Ob/Gyns.  The work schedule will be fully discussed.  $ Excellent financial package!

PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Their 17 bed Birthing Center is supported by nurses cross-trained to provide labor/delivery, postpartum, & newborn care.  It provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. Each LDRP room is equipped with state-of the-art equipment and is on the same level as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.

  • As an Ob/Gyn physician with this healthcare system, you would join a network encompassing many specialties. You will also receive administrative support allowing you to focus on patient care and service.

  • The hospital provides 24-hour emergency and inpatient services, rehabilitation services, surgical services, and laboratory and diagnostic services.

  • Hospitalists work as partners with their primary care physicians.
  • In addition, Physician Liaisons provide support with marketing and new patient referrals.
  • They take pride in their excellent retention of employees and physician retention.
  • Availability:  Ob/Gyn residents completing their training during 2023 and July of 2024, as well as Ob/Gyn physicians who are already in practice and have work experience are all welcome to apply and will be seriously considered.
