Learn more at .About the roleWe are looking for a senior engineer with expertise in simulation of electromagnetic and radar systems. This role will focus on leading our initiatives related to replicating sensors in our simulated environments. At Applied Intuition, we encourage all engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, closely interact with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.At Applied Intuition, you will:Design and implement core components of our proprietary simulation engine Lead projects related to robotics such as motion planning, mapping, and system modelingWork with top autonomy companies to understand and solve unique challenges in simulation-based development and scalable testing of autonomy stacksWe're looking for someone who has:Experience in computational electromagnetics and radar signal processingExperience with simulation under geometric and physical optics principlesExperience with modeling material interactions for various sensing wavelengthsExperience implementing models in Python and C++2+ years of industry experienceNice to have:Experience with modeling radar systems in complex 3D environmentsHands-on experience with characterizing radar systems in lab environmentsExperience with various techniques such as MOM, FDTD, or SBRCompetent skills and experience in linear algebra, antenna theory, optics, circuits, photonics, or electro-opticsExperience with designing applications targeting GPU processingThe salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.Don’t meet every single requirement?
