The VA Central California Health Care System, Fresno, CA., is looking for a full-time academically oriented Psychiatrist to work in our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. The psychiatrist will with an interdisciplinary team of Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and several other allied mental health professionals. The Veteran population is diverse with many mental health related issues to include but not limited to Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Severe Mental Illness, Substance Use Disorders, and medical co-morbidities.
The Fresno VA is a core training site for the University of California San Francisco, Fresno Medical Education Residency Program. With a faculty appointment, opportunities for resident supervision, teaching, and clinical research will be available. This position also has an academic appointment with University of California San Francisco UCSF. Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
Expected Salary range $250,000 to $300,000, may include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus. Candidate may be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program and if approved, receive up to $200k in school loan repayment Tax Free.
Sign on Bonus: *Candidate may be eligible for up to a $70,500 Sign on Bonus
