Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Conduct outpatient consultations and ultrasounds, with an occasional need to see high-risk inpatients.
  • Utilize virtual visits for consults as an additional option for patient care.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with inpatient teams and Ob/Gyns to provide comprehensive care for high-risk patients.
  • Offer phone consultations with OBGYN generalists for admitted patients.
  • Be available to consult on high-risk inpatients as needed.

Procedures:

  • Perform specialized procedures such as amniocentesis and other MFM-specific interventions.
  • Optional opportunity to expand your procedural scope to include CVS or other relevant procedures.

Educational Engagement:

  • Engage actively in resident education, offering mentorship and teaching opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for resident physicians.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility to adjust to a 4-day workweek (10-hour days).

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Active medical license in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain one.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teaching skills.
