The goal of the Memory Program Coordinator in Training program is to successfully prepare trainees for their first management role as a Memory Program Coordinator within our senior living communities. This position requires advanced critical thinking skills and a high level of engagement with dementia residents, their families and our employees.WHAT WILL I BE DOING?Completing dementia management and leadership training under the direction of an assigned Memory Program CoordinatorAssisting in the management of the dementia care and programs department including supervision and training of caregivers and activity professionals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting cognitive assessments.Planning, organizing and facilitating specialized activities to promote residentsocialization, growth, learning, and developmentParticipating in the recruitment and training process for dementia caregivers and activity professionalsWorking collaboratively with other departments to maintain customer satisfaction
