Highly skilled and motivated engineer to participate in one or more Charles River IMS modules or components of an Agile scrum team. Provide engineering troubleshooting assistance to customer support teams and other development teams within Charles River.Why this role is important to us

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Preferably exposure to Kafka, Snowflake, Kubernetes, Angular, JavaScript and Java.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, team playerAbility to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector (Math background desirable, not required)Additional RequirementsAbility to play a key role in developing and supporting commercial software products which were sold to non-technical customers in vertical marketsKnowledge of XML/XSLExperience with Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, or WebSphereDevelop test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, or other related software engineering languages as well as keeping abreast of emerging technologies impactful to CRD’s businessSolid grasp or algorithms, ability to solve complex heuristic/optimization types of problems4 to 7 years of experience in financial services developing solutions for Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR or Wealth Management is strongly desiredAbout State StreetWhat we do.
