Job Description:
Unload containers and move pallets from receiving floor to assigned locations on the racks; to temporary staging locations; and between warehouse buildingsConsolidate pallets to organize warehouse space and increase/improve space utilizationReceive and distribute products or packages throughout facilityAssist with loading shipments for outbound trucksMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work areaAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safetyPerforming daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipmentAll other duties as assigned by managerSchedule:
For the first couple of weeks, hours will be:
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Future hours will be:
4, 12 hours shifts with 4 days off, rotating.
Requirements
Job Description:
High School diploma or equivalent10+ years' of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environmentMust have Sit Down Forklift certificationHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for operating equipment and keeping recordsExecute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerGood communication skillsTeam oriented thinkingPhysical demands and abilities
Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truckFrequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of timeHaving good eye-hand-foot coordinationAbility to assess weights and judge distances and heightsAbility to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
