Position Overview:
Extracts meanings and value from large datasetsMakes and communicates principled conclusions form data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledgeAbility to develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states or organization, cleanliness, and structure account for features and limitations inherent in NSA/CSS data holdingsTranslates practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirementsAssists others with drawing appropriate conclusions form the analysis of the performed dataEffectively communicates complex technical information to non-technical audiencesMakes informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions by maintaining awareness of the constantly shifting NSA/CSS collection, processing, storage, and analytic capabilities and limitationsMinimum Qualifications:TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline from an accredited college or universityThree (3) years' experience as a Data Scientist in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
