Position Overview:The Database Engineer will direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis. The Database Engineer will also direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system. The Database Engineer will create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates. The Database Engineer will lead the development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software. The Database Engineer will direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is requiredDemonstrable experience with the following is required:
MongoDB or MariaDB - including deployment and management of the database itself, debugging of optimization issues, and scaling
Preferred Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will also have experience with:
Python, Django, or FlaskReST Endpoint DevelopmentMicro-service ModelSwaggerAWS, C2S, or other cloud experienceDockerVisual Studio Code or similar IDEsJSON and/or XML serializationJira, Confluence, Git version controlExperience working in Agile environment
Education and Experience (Must be in relevant technical field/discipline):
