Position Title: Sales Manager, Nuclear Business North America (Remote)Reports To: Vice President, Engineered Business North America

Position Summary:We seek an experienced and dynamic nuclear business sales manager to join our team, focusing on the sales of centrifugal pumps within the nuclear power generation sector, from second to fourth-generation nuclear power reactors throughout the North American region (AMN). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, a deep understanding of the nuclear energy market for feedwater, condensate, and cooling applications, and competency in auxiliary pumps. As a key member of the KSB USA organization, the nuclear business sales manager will work closely with the KSB Global Nuclear Energy team based in Frankenthal, Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a forward-looking strategy development for the power generation business in the nuclear segment.Formulate business plans, define business objectives and financial targets, and implement them in alignment with corporate goalsDevise appropriate strategies and ensure regular reviews of these objectives with relevant stakeholdersLead actions and collaborate with the marketing manager for Energy (power generation) to develop and implement the marketing and communications campaign to grow nuclear salesIdentify, participate, and represent KSB at appropriate market segment forums, trade shows, and conferencesIn close collaboration with KSB's Global Sales Nuclear, lead and coordinate all aspects of business development and sales to position KSB as a preferred centrifugal pump technology partner, build a sales pipeline, and achieve sales goals in the North American regionLead and support other KSB companies in developing worldwide nuclear business opportunities originating in the North American regionConsistently use and maintain the Cloud for Customer (C4C) customer relationship management tool for nuclear business development and sales managementWith the support of financial and legal stakeholders, lead the negotiation of technical and commercial contractual terms and conditionsCollaborate closely with the KSB SupremeServ team to promote KSB products and services for retrofit and reverse engineering opportunities related to new opportunities in the nuclear businessIdentify critical nuclear power generation training and development needs and opportunities of relevant stakeholders with the ability to spot talent and nurture the development of high-potential employeesIdentify, develop, and secure opportunities to increase KSB AMN's value proposition by adding new revenue-generation applications, products, clients, and sales strategiesUp to 50% of domestic and international travel time is requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Minimum of ten years of related experience in the heavy industrial pump marketMinimum of five years of commercial customer-facing experience in the nuclear power generation marketKnowledge of relevant standards and regulations associated with nuclear power generation: IAEA, NRC, INPO, ASME, ISO, IEC, CSA, EPA, and ICRP, among othersFamiliar with new developments and trends for advanced nuclear power reactors, including Generation IV reactorsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering required
