LVN/LPN / LVN/LPN / Utah / Per Diem / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job

Adelphi is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide exceptional nursing services at a special education school in Utah. The LPNs will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students with hearing and visual impairments.

Requirements:

• Active UT license
• 1 year experience

Responsibilities:

• Ride with student to school
• Checking equipment and supplies before departure to ensure that all provisions are available for the students needs during the day
• For students with trach, suctioning trachs as often as necessary to maintain the students airway
• Monitor student's medical condition(s) and intervene appropriately
• Assist the child to participate in the curriculum activities determined by the classroom teacher
• Where necessary, feeding students by bolus or feeding pump
• Administer medications at the appropriate time, route, and dosage as determined by the student's physician
