This position is tailor made for a robotics enthusiast who wants to take automation to the next level! We are looking for a Hardware & Manufacturing Manager to build the team, facilities, and processes to deliver cutting-edge robotic systems to our customers in North America. As part of a world-class team of roboticists, and with access to state-of-the-art robotics technologies, you will conceptualize, build, troubleshoot, and execute robotics hardware solutions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction by successful and on-time delivery of hardware systemsDevelop hardware for various applications from conceptualization through implementation within Mujin production systemsBuild, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and document electromechanical and robotic systems as well as test setupsBuild and execute QA test plans related to hardware to ensure intended lifetimeCreate user manuals for and full documentation sets for all hardware designedDefine and execute the hardware engineering processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high quality deliverables and compliance with industry regulationsSet up and maintain systems, workflows, and documentation to manage supply chain, R&D, integration, deployment, and after serviceSet up and maintain hardware R&D and manufacturing facilitiesWorkshop for prototyping, manufacturing, and quality assuranceLead, mentor, and grow a team of hardware engineers with diverse backgrounds and skillsCollaborate with sales, integration, and operations teams both within Mujin Corp and Mujin group companies globallyRequirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of hardware design principles and technologies, including sensors, actuators, and control systemsStrong understanding of robotics and material handling systemsProficiency in hardware and design and analysis tools, including CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and related PDM etc.Experience with embedded systems design and microcontroller programmingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
