Duties and ResponsibilitiesServes as a liaison for owner and partner entities for the contract, design systems, procedures and related deliverables.Demonstrates functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements.Obtains, maintains and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities.May represent owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings.Manages project controls, cost and performance activities and procedures, procurement, project logistics, organization, systems and project close-out.May lead project meetings.Documents and tracks relevant information and project statuses.May coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers,architects, and related performing entities.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent degree.5-10 years of progressive project management experience.Experience with construction management processes and knowledge of construction means and methods.Knowledge of project delivery and time management, and how to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen conditions.Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents, plans and specifications.Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and/or Primavera.Ability to work independently to achieve client goals.Understanding of project financing sources, issues, and practices
