towork with our Housekeeping Team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
A housekeeper isresponsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of the hotel are kept cleaneveryday while ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to,making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming carpets, andcleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by thehotel are placed at appropriate areas. Consistentlyoffers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Performscleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
Use ofMaid Cart when cleaning rooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessarysupplies.
Emptyinggarbage, removing linens and towels.
Remakingbed with fresh liens and restocking room with towels, amenities, etc.
Reportsnecessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
Followsdepartmental policies and procedures.
Followsall safety and sanitation policies.
Assistsother departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Operating Housekeeping equipment suchas vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.
Ability and willingness to adhere toall Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.
Must maintain a positive influence inthe community and positive relations with area vendors.
Teamwork- Balances team andindividual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness to others views, welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive team environment,and prioritizes the teams success above own interests.

The Housekeeping Attendant position is expected to normally keep a 5 day a week schedule, 40 hours per week can be expected, however it can be more or less depending on the business needs of the hotel.
