What We're Looking For

Stytch is the platform for user authentication. We make it simple for developers to build complex, passwordless authentication flows in minutes. As an early sales hire, you’ll work alongside your team, cross-functional leaders, and the Head of Revenue to manage and shape our customers' authentication experiences—with a keen focus on owning the enterprise space.

Our Sales Team is responsible for growing customers and revenue at Stytch. As a Commercial Account Executive, you’ll be tasked with working with new and existing customers to deepen their usage and increase the amount of value they derive from Stytch. You’ll become a trusted advisor in the authentication space, and pitch Stytch’s offerings compellingly while demonstrating exemplary domain expertise over the product and broader authentication trends. You will be able to project manage complex sales cycles with small to mid-size customers, ensuring that you’ve engaged with multiple stakeholders at target companies and are in regular contact with counterparts at different companies. You will also demonstrate excellent sales techniques, including but not limited to:Impactful and efficient discoveryTime and resource managementA comprehensive grasp of deal dynamics and close plansAccurate forecasting and SFDC hygieneCreative approach to closing business and outbound opportunity creationExcellent time management and timely responses with customersWhat Excites You

Pete grew up outside of Washington, DC and went to college in Northern California. He has played basketball his whole life, and briefly played professionally in Germany. After basketball, he had a few jobs before starting in technology sales, including working as a speechwriter in Austria and investment banker in Boston. Over the past decade he has worked in sales and GTM roles at fast-growing SaaS companies, and loves the challenge of building high-performing teams and healthy cultures. Outside of work he enjoys playing basketball (not as well as he once did), cooking, and watching movies.The anticipated base salary is $90,000 plus commission. The anticipated base salary range is not inclusive of full benefits including equity, health care insurance, time off, paid parental leave, etc. This base salary is accurate based on information at the time of posting.
