Practice Detail

• Full Time Practice
• 26 Weeks of Coverage/Year
• 7A-7P Shift
• 7 on 7 off schedule
• Unrestricted 24/7 Call
• Highly skilled Critical Care Team consisting of 2 Physicians and 3 Nocturnal Nurse Practitioners
• 17 bed Critical Care Unit (open unit)
• Approximate intensivist patient census 8 10
• Average Length of Stay 1.2-1.6 days
• No Trauma
• No Pediatrics
• Experience/comfortable with ventilator management, intubation, vascular access, insertion and management of central venous lines, arterial lines and peripheral lines
• Responsible for Inpatient Pulmonary Consults (approximately 3-5/week)
• Nocturnal Nurse Practitioner Staffed 9P-9A
• 1:1 or 1:2 nursing staff ratio to patient
