THE OPPORTUNITIES
2 BC/BE family medicine physicians who truly want to serve the underserved in a new collaboration to expand primary care access in our area:
• Non-traditional schedule: 7 on/7 off during afternoon and evening hours note: 7 on/7 off not set in stone; afternoon/evening fairly certain
• Collaboration to establish a primary care family practice clinic that will be located within the Hospital
• Vision is not to be an urgent care, but rather to expand access to underserved community members, especially during peak evening hours, and thereby decrease unnecessary use of the emergency department while connecting patients to a patient centered primary care medical home

• Practices currently staffed by Physician Assistants; we are looking to add physician-level leadership
• Outpatient only, no OB, no hospital call; after-hours call rotates among all providers in the group

• Approx. 200 employees group-wide
• Seeking recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home during 2013
