The Accounting Manager will work directly with the Controller.
Regular and thorough communication with Project Managers
Strong organizational skills, able to work independently to meet deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills managing large workbooks
Critical thinker with problem solving skills using research & analytics as well as by a team mentality
Typical Duties
Participate in monthly job cost meetings Review project cost report anomalies and share findings with both Controller and related Operations Team Support Controller during annual Review and periodic bank and insurance audits gathering items from related request lists Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations Reconciling all subledgers to the general ledger monthly Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP Facilitate integrations between software solutions to general ledger Oversee financial transactions, such as credit card and recording of cash management transactions Maintaining and reconciling Fixed Asset schedules Process intercompany transactions Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Ad hoc projects as needed Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience
Minimum of 5 years practicing accounting and finance support Construction industry accounting experience required; CCIFP a plus BS in Accounting or related field Proficiency with accounting software applications Knowledge in Sage 300 CRE related programs a plus Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics GP and Wennsoft a plus Salary Range
