As a Publicity Manager at Broncomix, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public image of our books and authors. You will be responsible for developing and executing publicity campaigns to generate media coverage, increase book visibility, and build author brands. Working closely with authors, editors, and marketing teams, you will leverage traditional and digital media channels to amplify our publishing house's presence and drive book sales. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic publicity plans for new book releases, backlist titles, and author events, aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, including book reviewers, journalists, bloggers, and influencers, to secure coverage for our books and authors. Pitch books and authors to media outlets, coordinate review copies, and follow up on media inquiries to maximize exposure and press opportunities. Organize and execute author tours, book signings, literary festivals, and other publicity events, coordinating logistics and securing media coverage to support promotional efforts. Create compelling press materials, including press releases, author bios, pitch letters, and media kits, tailored to specific target audiences and media platforms. Monitor media coverage and social media conversations, track publicity metrics, and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders, analyzing results and identifying opportunities for optimization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field. Strong network of media contacts, with a demonstrated ability to secure high-profile media coverage and placements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with authors, media professionals, and internal stakeholders. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and promoting literature, adept at crafting compelling narratives and pitches. Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with digital media platforms and tools, including social media, email marketing, and web analytics, as well as traditional publicity channels. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for author events and media outreach activities.
