Position Description:Our Intelligent Process Automation (“IPA”) practice focuses on providing Intelligent Process Automation solutions to solve our clients’ challenges. It is one of the largest practices across the globe, the fastest growing practices in the company, and a key pillar of our digital offerings. We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect, who can lead the design and implementation of cognitive automation solutions across industries leveraging Microsoft technologies. You will succeed in this role if you are passionate about working with clients to develop solutions to help them drive efficiencies, modernize their operations and be at the forefront of digital change.Responsibilities:Ability to provide oversight as well as set up the Microsoft Power Platform environments and related technologiesEstablish technical governance, define standards and frameworks to manage tenants, environments, users, COE Kits, and drive best practicesLead technical assessment for clients looking to shift their digital productivity technology stackConceptualize and develop relevant use cases for client engagements: proof-of-concepts (POC), proof-of-value (POV), proof-of-technology (POT) and production deploymentsLead implementation and migration projects, leveraging a global delivery team and coordinating with business and client stakeholdersGuide teams in identifying technical risk early in the process and identify opportunities for scaling and hardening processes to provide higher impact for clientsEstablish communication monitoring and support methodologies for clientsLead practice content positioning, amplifying service offerings across internal stakeholdersSupport content creation for presales activities in Microsoft Power Platform, including client presentations and solutioning. Opportunity to develop and enhance content to meet our client needs as this technology stack and industry continues to evolve.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must have minimum 10 years of hands-on experience on at least one of the programming languages (e.g. .Net, Java, VB, C#/C, HTML/CSS, Python, Web Services, mainframe, web applications, SQL, data integration tools, technical automation tools)Must have 2+ years of experience as a Microsoft Power Platform architect and have successfully led implementations of Microsoft Power Platform programsDetailed knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components – Power Automate Desktop, Power Automate Cloud Flow, AI Builder, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Virtual Agent/Copilot etc.Experience implementing solutions using Azure AI servicesFamiliarity with LLM frameworks and Gen AI programming is preferredKnowledge in data sciences and data analytics, and utilization of machine learning algorithms in automationExperience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementation projects as a solution architect, preferredDelivery management experience in leading large global implementationsStrong program management skills with attention to detail to ensure onetime execution for clientsDemonstrated strength in developing client relationships, managing outcomes, and driving resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to blend the practitioner experience with clear presentation skills to support impactful client discussionsAbility to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly-matrixed environmentWilling to travel to client location as per engagement requirementCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
