RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manufacturing ERP Business Analyst in Smithfield, RI.

Summary:

The Manufacturing ERP Business Analyst is responsible for solving systems and process related problems by working with stakeholders and enhancing Deacom ERP related workflows using their business knowledge, communication skills, data mining and packaged ERP solution expertise. Proficiency in SQL is preferred to contribute to technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

Define & document business processes, data maps, and consult with end users for requirements, functionality, and solutionsSpecifying system designs, data, workflow, and logical processes to meet business objectivesPerform application configuration & management, customer relationship management (internal), project coordination, and identify/evaluate potential new solutionsPrincipally drive Deacom feature scopes, testing, and code promotion processesData mining and analytical evaluationsGather data and document requirements for ERP reporting, process improvements and data governanceProvide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from end users and/or technical staff regarding application, system, and reporting issuesTraining end users on relevant applicationsMaintain strong knowledge of industry trends, and Deacom (and supporting application) product offerings and enhancementsAnalyze ERP enhancement requests; prioritize, escalate, and communicate to the end user or manager any actions/changes regarding the change requestDevelop complex SQL queries, scripts, and reports to support business analysis activitiesREQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Information Systems or similarExperience with manufacturing ERP systems and processes, including general accounting, manufacturing and inventory controls, distribution, and sales order processingSome experience in a manufacturing or food environmentExperience coordinating projects in a team oriented, collaborative environment across multiple sitesUnderstanding of relational database principles and methodsStrong desire to dig in and learn new areas and processesStrong communication skills (oral and written)Ability to travel to business sites and events when requestedThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
