Laboratory Technologist/Technician - This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Med Tech.
Job Description:Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratoryAssists in instructing other personnel as assignedPerforms with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
Responsibilities:Show competency in performing testing proceduresEffectively use laboratory equipmentPerform and evaluate Quality Control ProgramAssist with laboratory training program
Requirements:Bachelor’s DegreeNCA, ASCP, HEW or AMT certified1 year general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training programAcute care experience preferred
