Medical Technologist - This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Med Tech.
Job Description:Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratory.Assists in instructing other personnel as assigned.Performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
Responsibilities:Show competency in performing testing procedures.Effectively use laboratory equipment.Perform and evaluate Quality Control Program.Assist with laboratory training program.
Requirements:Associate’s Degree.NCA, ASCP, HEW or AMT certified.1 year general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training program.
