Senior Accountant

Energy Recruiters has partnered with a growing renewable fuels organization to support their search for a Senior Accountant.Compensation:$90K-$100K plus bonusLocation:Central Valley, CAResponsibilities:Process expense and revenue cycle transactions as assigned, including vendor/customer invoices, reports, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare and review pre-transaction, pre-posting work papers and batches.Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for various accounts, including but not limited to, revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliation and preparing supporting schedules.Prepare and analyze account aging and other reports, identifying variances, issues, and trends, and providing insights and determinations to department management.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.4 plus years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment.Robust understanding of accounting principles and procedures.Healthy analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze transaction-level details and patterns.Contact:Matt Shannon at
