MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED3-5 years general office experience is preferred
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Registration and approval to work in a childcare facility and continued enrollment with the Criminal History Registry, Federal fingerprint background check, State background check, child abuse/neglect check and sex offender checkComplete the Head Start 101 and Human Resources trainingObtain the Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety Certificate within 30 days of hireObtain the CPR/1st Aid Certification within 90 days of hire 9. Obtain the Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Certificate within 90 days of hireParticipate in a minimum of 15 clock hours of professional development, per year
JOB DUTIES :
Process incoming and outgoing mail and log incoming checksFiling, photocopying, and preparing mailingsPrepare Payroll for SubmissionOrdering, organizing, and distribution of office and classroom suppliesGeneral typing of correspondence and reports as neededGenerate the following binders: Parent Policy CommitteeAttend staff meetings and trainingsAssist ERSEA Specialist with income verification of families according to agency policies and procedures and notification of waitlisted and enrolled childrenOversee logistic for Family Engagement Events ( venue, invitation, sign in sheets, snacks etc)Oversee and coordinate IT Work OrdersOversee and coordinate Work Orders; Maintenance to all Head Start classrooms, buildings, parking lots, yards, and playgrounds in a responsible and timely manner making safety and compliance to all regulations a priorityOversee and management of Program Safe Environment Checklists (daily building safety checklist, classroom safety checklist)Oversee and coordinate monitoring of Program Integrated Pest Management PlanOversee and coordinate complete of required Program Emergency Drills ( fire, tornado, active shooter etc)
