This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities, including but not limited to, cost estimation, project planning, and design review. The Preconstruction Director will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of construction projects.Responsibilities:As a Preconstruction Director, your responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing all preconstruction activities, including cost estimation, project planning, design review, and more.2. Working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are launched successfully.3. Developing and implementing preconstruction strategies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all preconstruction activities.4. Collaborating with the project team to develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for each project.5. Reviewing design documents to identify potential issues and propose solutions.6. Providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team.7. Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate contracts.8. Presenting preconstruction plans and budgets to clients and stakeholders.9. Ensuring compliance with all industry standards and regulations.10. Continuously improving preconstruction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.Qualifications:The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on preconstruction activities.2. Proven experience in cost estimation and project planning.3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.5. Strong communication and presentation skills.6. Proficient in using construction management software.7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.8.
