located in Richland, WA.Initially anticipated to be a one-year assignment with the potential for extension. The hourly rate range for this position is $29-$64 per hour (plus full benefits) with overtime paid at time and ½ for hours worked over 40 in one week. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.*DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFICExecution of A-E services contractsPreparation of original architectural designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for buildingsCoordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline and other engineering disciplinesPrepare procurement and subcontract requisition documents and perform associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendationsUtilize critical thinking to evaluate, select, and apply design skills and techniques to project related assignmentsParticipates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfactionEmbodies a commitment to external and internal client serviceBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBS degree in Architecture from an accredited university, with at least 6 years of progressive experience.Working towards professional registrationMust be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExperience with architectural design, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods or development of project deliverables.Understands technical issues and cost related to selection of design features and unique architectural requirements.Knowledge of practices and procedures of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, IBC, UFCs, and the USGBC LEED Rating System.Perform code reviews and generate code compliance reports/ drawingsSkilled in oral and written communicationCommunicates complex technical issues and recommends solutionsDemonstrated graphic presentation skillsUnderstanding of engineering planning and control methodsExperienced with producing a full, well-coordinated, detailed set of architectural construction documentsExperienced with coordinating a multi-discipline design teamExperience with CADD applications such as Autodesk design suite or MicroStation to originate 3D model content and produce design deliverables in a multidisciplinary model environmentProficient with Microsoft Office applications and SketchupExperienced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignExperience with developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact preferredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSNecessary skills to present technical subjects with competence and confidenceMaster’s degree in Architecture from an accredited universityWillingness to relocate after assignment completionANR offers full benefits including paid holidays, Paid Time Off and Medical, Dental and Vision insurance as well as 401k Match.Applicants must be punctual, have a good work ethic, and be able to successfully complete pre-employment testing and background investigation.ANR Group Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
