Parametrix is seeking a permitting expert to join us as a Senior Consultant in Seattle, Washington in support of the Greater Washington region. We provide innovative environmental permitting solutions for federal, state, and local agencies and for our region's most complex transportation, infrastructure, site development, and industrial projects. Our environmental practice includes hardworking professionals who are fun, collaborative, and dedicated. This position has the flexibility to work in one of our Washington locations.Who you are:
Experienced:
Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological sciences, planning, or similar. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of extensive permitting experience in Western Washington with a focus on the Clean Water Act, Hydraulic Project Approvals, as well as shoreline critical area review and other environmental documentation.Relationship-focused:
This role will focus on business development, project management and delivery, and client development. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, and the ability to partner with clients, agency staff, and co-workers are crucial.Skilled in Project Management:
Demonstrated experience and success in managing and delivering projects as well as developing client relationships and marketing environmental services.Broad Environmental Background:
You will have the opportunity to lead planners, scientists, and engineers on complex projects. Our team works broadly across environmental disciplines including SEPA/NEPA analyses, endangered species assessment, as well as wetland and stream determinations and mitigation. This position will lead environmental permitting efforts. Experience in permitting in other western states is a plus.What we offer:

Parametrix offers competitive market compensation. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program.
