Healthcare construction experience in occupied spaces or inpatient renovations is a plus. Position Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Assistant Project Manager to set-up Contracts/P.O.'s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, project scheduleCoordinate with the Estimator on the project budget, project scope, potential problems such as critical items and/or special hazardsProcure Letter of IntentsExecute owner contract as may be requiredConfirm all quantities with EstimatorReview returned subcontracts before signingExecute and track critical path submittalsConfirm project schedule with subcontractors and suppliersFinalize project budgets with AP/AR ManagerThorough review with the Field Superintendent of the plans and Specifications for layout/dimensions and critical items, subcontractor/supplier list and their scopes of work, delivery and submittal Items and timing, project schedule, project budget, testing/inspection reports/results, permits, daily log and travel policy, meeting agendas, project delays, change order work, etc.Set times for the weekly site meetings and monthly progress meetingsSet-up the internal project hand-off meetingsProcess and execute change ordersOverall project review throughout the project on budgets and schedulesUpdate budgets bi-monthlyUpdate project schedules weeklyVerify all testing/inspections have been completed and meet specificationsPrepare project meeting agenda and meeting minutesWork with the AP/AR Manager to process owner and subcontractor billings, approve codes and their amounts, and release subcontractors after owner paymentFinal punch and close-out preparation for final billings, O & M Manuals, punch out completion, substantial completion signed, final inspection, occupancy certificates with the City and/or StateMinimum Qualifications
A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred5+ years of experience in construction renovations / rehabs preferrably in Healthcare/Hospital settingExperience with technology: ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Smart BidA safety first mindsetThe ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems with limited directionEmployee Benefits Include
