Selectek is looking for a Senior Project Network Engineer who will be responsible for leading both projects and staff to deliver projects of a high quality and timely manner.
This is a contract to direct opportunity in San Jose, CA – the job will be in-office.Â

Required:
5+ years as a Network Engineer + experience managing projects Indoor Wireless LAN Site Surveys using Ekahau or AirMagnet Outdoor Wireless Network Modeling using EDX or ATOL or any type of Link Experience with the following hardware and software:
WiFi Network Hardware Point to Point Wireless Network Hardware Network services such as NTP, DNS, DHCP, etc
Experience with low latency applications such as voice and video Strong IPv6 skill Experience with (Ruckus or Cisco or Aruba) Wired or Wireless equipment in a production enterprise environment
Responsibilities:
Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs Architect, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise class wired and wireless networks. Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skill Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
Job order details  The person will work out of the San Jose office and supervisor 3 - 6 employees. They will manage Network Projects. Previous experience can be wired or wireless background. This person needs to be able to handle multiple projects at a time. Sponsorship: no Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
