Electrical Subject Matter Expert

DescriptionAt least ten years of experience performing work that is similar in scope to the work described below:With special emphasis on the electrical scope of the projects, review drawings, specifications, design documents, NCRs, CNs, and RFI processes. Provide input and evaluation of the appropriateness and completeness of these products to the Federal Team.Provide expertise and recommendations to the Federal Team in managing and executing electrical construction activities and crews in operating facilities and in the implementation of DOE specific design, safety, commissioning, and operating requirements on line-item projects at LANL and all other sites.Assist the Federal Team with field oversight of construction activities, ensure work control processes and procedures are effectively implemented and optimized, and that work is safely and effectively coordinated with the facility operations team.Assist the Federal Team in analyzing the budgets, costs to date and the estimated costs to complete for the construction projects.Participate and assist the Government in oversight activities in the testing, commissioning and transition to operations of various electrical systems in the facility and provide input to the Federal Team in these areas.RequirementsCurrent DOE Q Clearance or be able to obtain/maintain a Q Clearance
