Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Have incoming feeds from flat files and other DB's
They use informatica to get them to the staging area and data warehouse
Managing the Data Ware house and ETL processes
If there is any failover needs to be able to provide solutionsPLSQL - this will be the SQL tool on the back end
Unix - scripts are already built - minor tweaking
Using JAMS - any failure they get is on JAMS
Troubleshooting all of this will be priority
Roadmap - moving informatica to the cloud - cloud familiarity would be a plus

Oracle Packages -dealing with these
Reporting needs, debug frontend and backend.
Analyst skills (ETL generalist (API integrations, xml, JSON, Informatica, or other tools), 1 year scripting exp. in bash, shell or python), Microstrategy or any visual tool for dashboard development
4-5 years of exp.

-Extensive experience in extract, transform and load using Informatica V. 10+
-Demonstrated ability to track issues back to the source and dig into data to identify, document, and resolve root causes for issues-Hands on experience with Informatica, including demonstrated extensive experience with parallel job design and development and strong SQL coding skills-A strong familiarity with general DBMS concepts (Oracle experience preferred) SQL and PL/SQL-Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies particularly for enterprise wide data architectures and data warehousing/BI-Ability to prepare design documentation to express necessary details for review and ongoing maintenance
-Able to troubleshooting any failures, looking through the Scheduling tool and provide resolution.
