Scope of work:
As an entry level applications developer... Works closely with the Health Plan's Director of Information Systems as a contributor in the development and implementation of applications that support and enhance the administrative, management and customer needs of the Health Plan. Analyzes business and process requests, develops solution options in conjunction with business partners, and develops solutions. Designs, develops, implements, and documents the programs and/or modifications of existing applications. Devises or modifies procedures to solve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Supports Health Plan and wellness solutions and contributes to the success of various organizational units throughout the university. Maintains and creates technical diagrams, technical standards and provides input to other team members. Object orientated development required.
As an experienced Tier-2/local administrator specifically for local Health Plan IT solutions and needs... Responsible for 2nd level support and maintenance of the computing environment and local area network for the Health Plan. Provides local end user IT support for Health Plan, Inc.; installs, troubleshoots and upgrades PCs; assures electronic privacy and security pursuant to university and medical center requirements; provides support for common productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office); assists with server, network, and application issues; maintains printers. This role works with issues that are specific to the unique operations of the Health Plan.
