JOB DESCRIPTIONOur clients' Wealth & Insurance Technology team is seeking an IS Technical Specialist. This individual will take the lead role within the production support team to own the technology management responsibilities for the entire inventory of applications in the Wealth & Insurance Technology space.
Will be required to act as production support team lead for 65 applications used by our clients Wealth and Insurance businesses. Will build and maintain the necessary runbook of required tasks for each application with the responsibility of ensuring all tasks are being satisfied based on SLA. Prepare and present a monthly operations report of metrics to help the team measure strengths and opportunities for improvement. This position will not manage people directly but will lead a team of support staff to ensure they are correctly focused on the right set of priorities.
Please Note: This position is available for a Hybrid work schedule (3 days per week in office) in the greater Columbus OH area.
Responsibilities Include:- Software management repository data quality reviews.- Disaster recovery planning, execution and evidence gathering.- User access review planning and tracking.- Monthly production support metric reporting.- Certificate management renewal tracking and execution.- Availability monitoring reporting and planning for improvements.- Support ticket and SLA tracking.- Support of team on-call support rotation.- Management of weekly patching team assignments.- Incident review and resolution, including root cause analysis and discussion on prevention of repeat occurrences.- Ensure the maintenance of technical knowledgebase and support runbook.- Preparation and presentation of monthly support operations report.
Preferred Qualifications:- 3-5 years of experience in an application development or production support role.- Strong organization skills with an ability to pivot across many competing priorities.- Confidence working with strong business and technology personalities.- Great communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business colleagues throughout the organization.- Experience working with and supporting vendor applications.
