VAS enable Visa’s clients to deliver secure, reliable and convenient payments experiences for their customers. In fiscal year 2022, VAS drove 6 billion of USD in revenue, and over half of Visa’s clients used five or more VAS products.The Strategy & Planning team partners with the Global Head of Value-Added Services and leadership team to (1) develop and refine the overarching strategy of the division, (2) design and manage a cohesive operating plan, and (3) address matters that require executive attention.The role will support the Director of Strategy & Planning across a range of strategy, operations, and planning activities. Time spent on these areas will shift based on business needs. The Manager will own workstreams of key strategic initiatives (e.g., long-range strategy development, portfolio diagnostics, client and leadership forums) and ensure the Value-Added Services leadership team is equipped with the data and insights to meet growth imperatives.Strong candidates are versatile team-players who learn fast, have high EQ and IQ, and carry a demonstrated record of driving workstreams.What we expect of you day-to-day:Lead workstreams / small projects related to multi-year strategy development and assessments of significant opportunities – including potential acquisitions – and threats.Structure and solve business problems, collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on issues with far-reaching business impact.Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional teams and management in a clear, concise, and impactful way.Support Value-Added Services’ senior leadership team by developing thought leadership for internal executive meetings and external client councils / forums.Manage day-to-day project and team activities to meet milestones and timelines.Execute market and competitive research and connect trends to business goals; analyze and synthesize research into consumable strategy outputs.QualificationsBasic QualificationsPursuing MBA/Master degree program graduating between January 2023 - August 2024 with 2 years relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications3-6 years of experience, preferred in management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry.Ability to lead and manage complex workstreams or small projects independently.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated quantitative rigor.Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.Attention to detail and the ability to structure and analyze financial, operational, and market data.Outstanding stakeholder management abilities at both senior and junior levels.Strong executive communication and presentation skills. Impeccable written and oral communication.Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible.Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on.Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity.Additional InformationWork Hours:

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $136,000- $151,000 USD which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
