DescriptionSeeking an experienced and dynamic Finance executive to join our leadership team in Sacramento, California. Reporting to the CEO, the Director will be instrumental in overseeing all financial functions including accounting, administration, and Human Resources. We require a strategic thinker with a profound understanding of financial modeling and P&L management. Will play a pivotal role in steering the company's financial direction while managing and optimizing our financial performance. The ideal candidate will have experience directing the financial operations of established companies with annual revenues of $25-100 million. This role demands proficiency in accounting, financial modeling, balance sheet management, ROI analysis,, M&A, multi-state taxation, and sales commission oversight.First Corporate Solutions

We deliver superior customer experience combined with our intuitive user interface and API integration.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESForecast and strategize for the business's future, promote growth, and advise stakeholders.Identify financial risks and implement plans to mitigate them.Participate in strategic decisions by developing forecasts to support the company’s overall vision, objectives, and operational goals.Advise CEO on feasibility of operational and growth objectives based on financial data and forecasts.Manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet management, expense management, and tax planning.Lead and supervise the accounting, finance, and human resources teams, ensuring effective performance, development, and operational efficiency across the administrative functions of the company.Design and maintain sales commission structure with accuracy and strategic insight.Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and financial regulations.Collaborate with executive team members.Provide insightful financial analysis and guidance on all plans, targets, and business drivers.Lead collaboration with CPA firm to ensure effective tax planning and compliance.Evaluate and provide insights on potential M&A opportunities.Develop cost and ROI analyses across various product lines and business units.Implement technology solutions (such as AI tools) for accounting and financial analysis automation.Oversee MS Business Central and MS Dynamics internal systems.RequirementsEXPERIENCE & PREFERRED ATTRIBUTESBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalentSeven to ten years of progressive hands-on accounting and finance experience in a medium-sized company managing direct reportsExperience in financial modeling, financial engineering, P&L management, multi-state tax issues, and sales commission managementCost accounting or FP&A experienceExperience in risk management, compliance, UCC, public record, or legal industry a strong plusCPA license in good standing preferredM&A experience preferredThorough knowledge of current GAAP financial and accounting practices and proceduresUnderstanding of governmental regulations and reporting requirementsUnderstanding of general taxation rules and applications for state and local governmentsGeneral knowledge of personal and corporate federal tax returns and taxation effectsCurrent knowledge and usage of ERP systems or other integrated accounting software programs (Business Central and MS Dynamics a plus)Demonstrated success in an entrepreneurial business environmentStrategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsResults-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentA skilled leader with strong investigative, analytical, and abstract reasoning skillsProven ability to plan, organize, lead and control workflow and projects
