A successful CFE provides the financial oversight and action-oriented leadership for the line of business finance strategy and operations required to support the attainment of performance to plan. In this role, the successful CFE will be a trusted, process-oriented, strategic, and operational business partner to the chief executive for the India business operations, providing critical financial decision support to help maximize the financial results for the business. This position reports directly to the Chief Country Executive in India, with a dotted line to VP, Chief Finance Executive – APAC.
Financial & Business Acumen
Provide meaningful, impactful, and actionable plans, forecasts, analyses and reporting to assist executive management in determining direction, strategy, and tactics to improve results. Responsible for oversight of the Finance, Accounting, Credit/Collections functions, and advanced supply chain planning. Drive lean, continuous process improvement to create efficiency and cost reduction. Ensure that the financial information accurately reflects the state of the business in accordance with the principles of Corporate Governance, ensuring compliance with GAAP. Ensure compliance with all reporting obligations to local authorities. Administer the financial resources of the company, planning financing needs and management of debt. Manage the business metrics optimizing the use of the Working Capital: DSO, DIO and DPO, working with the business areas for this. Lead financial aspects of potential M&A activity. Deliver Results

Partner with business leaders to drive value and insight that enables achievement of key financial objectives. Strategic and operational business partner to the Country Chief Executive (and other stakeholders) providing critical financial decision support to maximize the financial results of the country. Reliable partner by the Senior Leadership Teams and WW Finance Community. The role will need to work very closely with Country Commercial and back-office teams, HQ Finance, Legal, other CFE’s. Partner with the business on its drive of company strategy across numerous external constituents, including, but not limited to, banks, commercial financers, credit insurance providers, rating agencies, customers, vendors, service providers and others. Lead full-cycle development and management of the India annual budget and regular forecasting processes to support our operational needs in service to clearly defined operating plans and goals. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive management team with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business to exceed business plan targets. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. Ensure we are appropriately staffed and organized to ensure proper financial oversight, control and process environments, and financial reporting accuracy. Develop finance team in India and develop appropriate bench and succession planning within the finance function. Oversee end-to-end monthly and year-end close, reporting, and external audit procedures, including the execution of precise and efficient closing procedures, preparation of close reporting that provides deep insight into variance drivers, and partnering with external audit partners, all in compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, accounting requirements, and internal policies. Lead structured planning and forecasting exercises, including monthly and long-range forecasting, to ensure that we accurately understand revenue trends, how resources are deployed, and how the business tracks relative to plans and goals. Ensure the company capital requirements are clearly understood through cash runway planning and optimization, optimization of company capital structure, and identifying and communicating the need to raise capital. Coordinate with corporate and country resources as needed to ensure issues and needs are addressed timely and thoroughly, and proper corporate support is leveraged where and when needed. Innate ability necessary to work across multiple internal functions to ensure alignment and cooperation on local, regional and corporate goals; ability to quickly build a broad and deep internal network to work efficiently. Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Drive a continuous process improvement program that leverages new tools, automation, and best practices to improve the team's work efficiency, velocity, accuracy, and insightfulness. Execute and implement controls and policies to ensure adequate assessment and mitigation of risk, including credit, FX, and liquidity risk, and compliance with applicable regulatory or legal requirements. Cultivate and lead a high-performing team that produces rich insights, plans, and forecasts with high clarity and accuracy. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required, MBA preferred. 15+ years of experience across Accounting, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Analytics and Financial Reporting including forecasting and budgeting in a multi-national company. Tech industry experience is preferred. Audit, Investment Banking or Big 4 Consulting experience is a plus. Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills with extensive experience advising senior leaders. India centric experience with exposure of working in multiple jurisdictions, and in APAC in particular. Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA). Experience with corporate governance. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal control policies and procedures. Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models. Advanced understanding of IFRS and closing/reporting processes. Understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements is preferred. Travel Readiness: Occasional travel may be required. This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
