Electrical Assembly Lead -Redondo Beach, CA
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Assembly Lead who has a passion for electronic development and enjoys working in small teams. Your experience will be utilized in developing power electronics, satellite testing equipment, fabrication of PCBs, power supply cables, and wire harnesses for our aerospace, EV, and medical industry customers. As a lead, you will work closely with the Electrical Engineers and lead the electrical assembly team from the beginning to the completion of projects.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:Supervise and motivate the electrical assembly team in power supply for various legacy projects, ground testing equipment, PCB, cabling, and wire harness designs to specification and blueprints.Support in inspection and testing of assembled products for quality and functionality.Support in troubleshooting assembly.Develop schedules and assign project responsibilities to ensure on-time delivery.Submission of work orders and documentation proceduresAble to lead in the assembly of projects with connectors of over 145 pins effectively.Lead, train, or interpret blueprints in the cables and harnesses assembly; end connector install, continuity pin testing, twisted shielded wires, heat shrink.support or train in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Support, train, or interpret blueprints in the assembly of PCB board; soldering IC, resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors.Hands-on support as needed and strong communication in answering technical questions on the production floor.Able to easily Interpret blueprints, drawings or diagrams, and assembly instructions to the assembly team.Participate in leadership meetings, implement production improvements, and support lean manufacturing activities.Management of full assembly production that adheres to required regulations and standards of all projects.Other job responsibilities per project requirements.Requirements:
4+ years of Experience as a lead in Electrical Assembly required.6+ experience with Electrical assembly, PCB, cabling, wire harness, and routing wire experience required.6+ years of working in any Aerospace, EV, or Medical industry preferred.Proven success in a multidisciplinary product design environment preferred.IPC Standards, J standard experience required, certification is preferred.
